This abstract landscape was created with collage, acrylic paint, charcoal and pastels on heavy watercolor paper. Several paintings were torn into collage pieces and integrated into the original work to create interesting and unexpected passages. The colors in this piece reminded me of burnished garnets and bright green limes. The painting has irregular, deckled edges and is mounted on warm white mat board to show these off.  The piece would look terrific in a simple black frame.
