This abstract landscape depicting the beauty and dignity of trees in winter was created using layers of collage embedded in an acrylic painting. Charcoal and pastel are used throughout to emphasize the lines and colors in the piece. I love trees, and whenever I gaze into a forest of giant conifers or majestic oaks, I'm reminded that the trees were here before us, and will be long after we are gone.
